The FPW Board is more than an Advisory Board; we are a working Board of Directors that meets monthly. Each board meeting begins with a prayer meeting to pray for the requests submitted at the monthly luncheons. Each board member has a description of their responsibilities and committee assignments, and signs an annual covenant of their commitment and confidentially.
Cynthia Mickens Ross is a dynamic and charismatic speaker, teacher, coach and author. She offers words of wisdom that are thought-provoking and life-changing. Cynthia believes you must seek God for your life purpose and not others. She's authored, and teaches, a 12-week spiritual and personal development course entitled, "Path~Way to Purpose®." Her program helps individuals discover their natural gifts, talents and abilities. Since its inception in 2002, "Path~Way to Purpose®" has been a resounding success, helping to transform the lives of countless individuals. Cynthia serves as the Director of Community Relations & External Affairs at Methodist Charlton Medical Center and is the Senior Pastor of Path~Way to Life Center of Hope Church in Hutchins, Texas. She’s also the Founder & CEO of Cynthia Mickens Ministries, Inc. and the Path~Way to Purpose® Residential Housing program. She is the immediate past chair of the Best Southwest Partnership and a board member of Leadership Dallas Alumni. Cynthia is married to the love of her life, David E. Ross III, and mother to (Mrs.) Sherrell Warren and grandmother to Kennedy, Regan, and Jason Warren.
Andrea Sallis is a serial entrepreneur, social-impact advocate, speaker and business mentor recognized for her quick ability to assimilate partnership opportunities with results-oriented leadership. A consummate networker, Andrea has successfully turned "contacts into contracts" for over 15 years, as a businesswoman leading successful start-ups, real estate projects, investor relations and event production. Andrea is the Visionary Officer for Healthway Education Systems and Healthway Wellness and is also a master facilitator for SIL faith-based Trauma Healing Institute. Her passion lies in empowering women and youth to realize their full potential, and to bring life to those who may have experiences tragedies as the Founder of Healing the Hurting Heart Ministries. Andrea is the proud mother of (Mrs.) Marla Manous, Carmen Sallis and Courtney Bailey in heaven and 3 wonderful grandsons. She attends Amity Bible Church where she exercises her gifts in the children's and small groups ministries..
Nancy St. Jacobs is a financial industries expert and has held various roles in the field of banking since 1992, with 18 years spent here in North Texas. During her career, she has worked exclusively and passionately with small business clients for 23 of those years.
Nancy currently holds the position as Community Business Development Officer and Vice President at BB&T, (Branch Banking and Trust). She enjoys her partnerships with organizations that support small business owners in their efforts of scaling and sustainability.
Nancy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and studied Banking & Finance at the University of Washington.
Outside of the professional arena, Nancy enjoys serving as part of the prayer ministry at her church. Nancy’s greatest joy is spending time with her family. She’s a mother of two and an adoring grandmother of two beautiful baby boys.

Susan Stephens graduated from University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and a minor in Psychology. She has been married to the most fabulous man in the world for 28 years, has two amazing children, and an incredible daughter-in-love. Her eldest son is married and living in Indianapolis to her daughter-in-love , who is currently completing her Doctorate in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Her youngest son currently works in IT. Susan and her husband, Paul, home-schooled their children from kindergarten through graduation. Once their youngest went off to college, God called Susan to serve as the Executive Director for Exodus Ministries. She says she is truly blessed to have the privilege of a front row seat to watch God move in the lives of these women and children. He performs miracles every day and occasionally He allows her to participate. Her motto is, “Bloom where you are planted.” Susan has beautifully exclaimed, “ When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'.”
Marilyn Jones is a REALTOR® with Ebby Halliday. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Azusa Pacific College (now University), she spent 20+ years in corporate and non-profit business administration. This background enables her to simplify the process for buyers, sellers and investors. She treats each person with the same honesty, integrity and care that she would want. Her knowledge of the market and attention to detail inspire trust and confidence. As the widow of a Vietnam Veteran, Marilyn is still connected with many of the brave men who served in the Casper Platoon, 173rd Airborne Division where her husband served. She is especially passionate about assisting veterans and considers it a special ministry to lead them and their families through what may be the largest transition of their lives. Marilyn is a member of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, where she was named the 2017 Ambassador of the Year. Tammy Simmons' mortgage banking career spans over 25 years. Tammy has witnessed the many peaks and valleys of the mortgage field, yet stayed faithful in her path. In doing so she's gained an undeniable level of expertise and knowledge on how to best advise her clients and strategic partners. Tammy helps her clients understand the options available to them and works to develop a mortgage strategy that best suits the client's budgetary, equity and overall financial objectives. Her superior customer service skills drive her repeat and referral based business. Tammy has long roots in the Plano community and attended Texas Tech University. She serves as a mentor with Polished and volunteers with several non-profit organizations. Tammy is a graduate of MetroTex Association of Realtors Leadership Academy. She faithfully attends church at the Village - Plano campus. and is blessed to have a loving daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons.
Frances McGill is a certified life coach. During her 30+ year tenure with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Frances coached, mentored, led, managed and trained individuals, creating incredible investigators, managers and leaders. She graduated from Prairie View A& M University with a Bachelor's of Science degree and completed a two year Leadership Program at Mountain View College, Leadership Southwest and Leadership with the Oak Cliff Bible Church. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Frances currently volunteers with Oak Cliff Bible Church as a deaconess and coach for small groups of facilitators, couples and martial groups. Additionally, she volunteers as a board member with the Dallas Women's Council, where she serves as secretary. Frances courageously leads her life coach clients to live a balanced life, motivating them to become the best versions of themselves.
A Texas native, Heather Young began her professional career as Marketing Director for OrthoTexas Physicians & Surgeons, PLLC, a thriving orthopedic practice. The practice now has six Dallas area offices plus a rehabilitation facility at The Star in Frisco. During her tenure, Heather grew the practice by implementing long term strategic goals, building strong customer relationships, while managing the marketing functions, including social media. Arriving at Methodist Hospital for Surgery in 2015 as Community Relations Manager, Heather has guided the expansion of physician service options and marketing activities, including managing all internal and external communications and supervising volunteer recruitment and education. Heather is a graduate of the University of Houston with a B.S. in Kinesiology, and has earned a master's degree in Public Health, specializing in Community Health Education, from New Mexico State University. Heather is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD). Her volunteer activities have benefited the older adult population at VNA, at-risk youth at My Friend's House and the children of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Plano.
Dee Holley's passion is teaching. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas Wesleyan University, is a member of Gamma Sigma Sorority and furthered her education at TCU. After teaching school for 8 plus years, she began a new endeavor pursing classes at the Cooper Institute. As a result, she started one of the first, home personal training/nutrition businesses teaching high-profile athletes, authors, etc. She now teaches hands on nutrition workshops. Health is essential for Dee, so she enjoys working out. She is on the board at DSWA; and is actively involved in AWARE; Alzheimer’s Women’s Association for Resources and Education. She loves Dallas, and is very much an activist. She currently serves as precinct chair for district 14. Dee is encouraged to teach, mentor and educate people regarding the “facts”. She is a true sports enthusiast, especially when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, TCU Horned Frogs and the Texas Tech Red Raiders! She has two children and three grandchildren and besides working out, her favorite thing in the world is spending time with them. Dee attends Cornerstone at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Her favorite scripture, “And we know that in all things, God works for the good, to those who love Him who are called according to His purpose”. Rom. 8:28
Sara Benavides began her career at Botsford Financial Group in 2012 at the Frisco, Texas office as the assistant to the Director of New Business Development and Marketing. Shortly after joining the Botsford team, her role changed to include being Erin Botsford’s executive assistant. Never satisfied with her personal development, Benavides role continued to evolve. Sara became part of Botsford Financial Group’s back-office allowing her to play an integral role with client service requests as well as being a client service liaison coordinating administrative aspects of client portfolios. Even with all of the above job functions, Sara’s primary role is Client Experience. Sara graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. When she is not in the office, Sara and her husband, Jonathan, are busy with their three munchkins, Xavier, Addison and Kimber. They live in Celina and you can find them in their boat on the nearest lake most weekends. When not on the lake with her family, she is very active with her son’s scouting program. Sara enjoys running 5Ks, 10Ks and is one of the founders of Botsford Financial Group’s team in the Susan G Komen 60 mile 3-day walk.
