Judge Tammy Kemp is the presiding judge of the 204th Judicial District Court in Dallas County, Texas. Judge Kemp was first elected to serve in November, 2014 and began her tenure January 1, 2015. She was elected to a second term in November, 2018. The 204th Judicial District Court hears all felony criminal cases, including Capital Murders. Prior to serving as a judge, she was an Assistant District Attorney with the Dallas County District Attorney’s office. Judge Kemp is a member of Concord Church, where she serves in the deaconess ministry. She is married and the mother of three amazing young adult children.
Rebecca Ashbrook Carrell is, in order of importance, a joyful Jesus follower, wife to Mike, mother to Caitlyn and Nick, morning show co-host in Dallas/Fort Worth on 90.9 KCBI, conference speaker, and author of Holy Jellybeans: Finding God through Everyday Things, and Holy Hiking Boots: When God Makes the Ordinary Extraordinary. She also hosts the Honest Conversations: Looking at Tough Topics through a Biblical Lens podcast. Rebecca founded the women’s ministry events branch of KCBI Heart Strong Faith in 2016. Rebecca is also working toward her Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary.
